Camposol Photographic Exhibition (23.08.10)

Thank you to everyone that entered this year’s photography competition.

Sadly the response was lower than we needed to run the competition so there has been a rethink and the exhibition has been postponed until the autumn. Last year the exhibition at the Camposol Business Centre generated a lot of interest and extended its run from two weeks to six to allow more time for all those that may not have been here for the fiesta itself to see what it was all about. The response to the fiesta weekend this year and last has been fantastic overall so it’s certainly something worth celebrating all year, especially as part of the intention behind the fiesta is to promote and establish Camposol within the fabric of our local community.

With this in mind and a little more time on our hands we now have an opportunity to put something special together. The invitation is open to all residents of Camposol to enter photographs of Camposol from the day construction first began to the present day. The intention is to put together an ongoing collection that documents the growth and development of Camposol from its earliest days covering everything that people wish to enter. From construction of houses and polygonos and the commercial centres, the changing landscape, the fiesta weekends, to the community groups and gardening efforts of recent years and help tell the story of Camposols development and progress.

If you have photos you wish to share please bring copies or place your photos on a disc and take to the reception at the Camposol Business Centre on A for the collection box or you can email pictures to info@fiestascamposol.com

Please include your name and contact details with your entries. If you have any photos you wish to to add descriptions to, or come with stories attached please include them with your entry.

The deadline for entries will be the 24^th September.
